Program Director
Remote - Full Time - Mid Level
The LLVM Foundation’s mission is to support the LLVM Project and ensure the long term health, diversity, and growth of the project and field of compilers and tools. To help us achieve these goals, the LLVM Foundation has established 4 programs: Educational Outreach, Grants & Scholarships, and Diversity & Inclusion (Community.o). We host one of the largest compiler conferences biannual in the United States (Bay Area) and Europe.
We are looking for a Program Director to help us market, manage, and grow our programs. We do require that you can travel to the biannual LLVM Developers’ Meetings. This is a full time remote position and you must be located in the United States. You would work directly with the Executive Director of the LLVM Foundation and eventually help bring on more employees in the future as the organization continues to grow.
Responsibilities:

Grants & Scholarship Program

Marketing - Advertise and reach potential applicants to expand the program.

Management - Guide selection committee, handle agreements and payments.

Evolution and Growth - Determine improvements and growth opportunities.

Requirements
-
Strong computer skills and familiar with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Discord, Discourse, Zoom, Google Suite)

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong project management ability

Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
Preferred experience:
-
2 to 4 years of experience with managing nonprofit or grant programs
-
Some event organization experience
-
Experience working with volunteers
-
Familiarity with the open source communities

Benefits and Compensation:
The starting salary range for this role is $60,000-70,000 USD annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors. Benefits to be discussed with potential candidates.
