Educational Outreach
The Educational Outreach program aims to create free or low-cost educational materials that are targeted to both technological amateurs and experts of LLVM. These educational materials are focused on LLVM and the LLVM Subprojects (MLIR, Clang, etc), compilers programming languages, and tools.

This program includes the LLVM Developers' Conference/Meeting which occurs once in the Bay Area and once in Europe. The LLVM Foundation will also look to expand these conferences to other regions of the world to reach more people.

The LLVM Developers' Meeting in the Bay area is one of the largest gatherings of compiler developers in the world. In 2019, our peak attendance was 634 attendees and this since then, we were rebuilding our community post pandemic with over 450 attendees in 2023. With a growth rate of about 10-12% year over year and a large number of new attendees each year, the LLVM Developers' Meeting is one of the largest compiler conferences. The Bay Area LLVM Developers' Meeting typically features 3 tracks of talks, tutorials, and panels and a 4th track of "round tables" that are informal discussions about a particular subject. We also feature a posters session and an opportunity to meet the sponsors of the LLVM Foundation. The majority of the talks are published on the LLVM Youtube Channel free to all.

The LLVM Foundation also organizes and supports EuroLLVM, the European LLVM Developers' Meeting. This event aims to connect developers in the European region and changes location year to year.

In addition to our LLVM Developers Meetings, the Educational Outreach program aims to provide the following:
-
GSOC
-
Meetup support
-
Short videos or tutorials
-
Documentation
